Raising children as a single parent is extremely difficult for not only for the parent but, more importantly, the children. This section is not promoting having children out of wedlock (though we must remember not all single parent homes are due to having children out of wedlock). This section is solely to motivate single parents and their kids that achievement can happen in spite of these difficulties in life. Is it easy? No, but it’s not easy for most people. Our expectations for children of single parents should be no lower than that of children of two-parent homes. You can find more about these successful men and women on the page that is listed in parenthesis.
