Howard University program to help establish more Black CPAs
Howard University School of Business will hold its fourth annual “We’re About Success!” week-long program to help young African-American accountants advance in their careers and prepare to earn their CPA credential.
The school’s Center for Accounting Education (CAE), which is sponsored by national accounting firms as well as professional organizations, will hold the event June 22-27 in Chantilly, Virg.
The program, part of CAE’s comprehensive effort to advance African-Americans in the accounting profession, targets young professionals early in their careers and helps them to increase their confidence and competence, and to pass the CPA exam.
