Debra McCauslin will discuss her book: Reconstructing the Past

In honor of Black History Month, Debra Sandoe McCauslin will be on hand to discuss her book, Reconstructing the Past on Thursday, February 14th at 7:00pm at the Lititz (PA) Public Library for the Lancaster Civil War Round Table. Her book attempts to reconstruct the history of an African American community that lived on Yellow Hill, north of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in the mid-1800s. The author discusses the involvement of the Yellow Hill community and neighboring Quakers (Friends) in Underground Railroad activity during the years before the Civil War.
