Mike Jackson, new CEO for Speedshape Inc.

Mike Jackson went from the VP of General Motors to the CEO of Speedshape, Inc., a four-year old tech firm.

Jackson is the second high-profile African American sales and marketing executive to exit GM and become a CEO in the tech industry in the past decade. The first was Roy Roberts, the auto industry’s highest ranking black executive until his retirement in 2000 when he left to run an Internet-based company.
