Spike Lee Films Movie About WWII Black Soliders

Spike Lee is currently directing an adaptation of James McBride’s Miracle at St. Anna about the African American 92nd Infantry Division.  The movie, of the same name, is set in 1944 Italy and is the story of four black American soldiers who get trapped in a Tuscan village during WWII.

The movie stars Derek Luke (“Antoine Fisher”, “Friday Night Lights”), Michael Ealy (“Barbershop”, “Their Eyes Were Watching God”) and Naomi Campbell (“Girl 6”).
