Ex-NBA player Larry Johnson earns degree from UNLV

Sixteeen years after UNLV early to enter the NBA draft, Larry Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science studies. Despite the millions made from basketball and endorsements he kept the promise he made to his mother.

  1. That is what’s up. I just watched an interview that he did last summer. I’ve been wondering what he was yp to these days. It’s good to hear that he earned his degree. That gives me inspiration to go back and achieve mine. Johnson was my favorite player, even after his back injury. I like how he transformed his game afterwards. Before that, he was a flat out beast. It’s good to see he’s still doing well. He is one of the few players that I consider my self s fan of. I wouldn’t ever ask him or anyone else for an autograph but I always admired the strength and ferocity with which he approached the game. Be easy…I’m out.

  2. I also saw on CNN that Vanessa Williams received her college degree from Syracuse this past weekend. Congratulations to them both!
