Tradition of Excellence

Everyday there are more statistics and images reaffirming that African-Americans are in a state of crisis.  Throughout these trying times African-Americans have never stopped succeeding and achieving.  Everyday people of color achieve and do amazing things from contributions in science to community.  We don’t have to travel back hundreds of years or even decades. 

Others may not know of our achievements, most notably the mainstream and its media.  Unfortunately, sadly many African-Americans, children and adults alike, are unaware of our successes.  Many times people who have been limited to one environment, usually a destructive and in their opinion hopeless one, don’t know the possibilities of the many opportunities in the world unless someone tells them or shows them.

“Tradition of Excellence” will highlight the many achievements and excellence of African-Americans.  I hope you enjoy.
